Little Glistening 'First Snow' Nests ..

Hello my dear friends,

I was planning on working on my felted poinsettias yesterday but in the end I had to step away from them for a little bit because it wasn't working the way I wanted it to and it began to frustrate me. I then opted to work on some embellishments for last years little sparkly nests and I must say that I am so happy with the idea I had for them and the way it has come to life.

Before my little nests looked lovely but now that they are all dressed up they look enchanting in my eyes.

I thought I had actually made more of them but unfortunately I only made three small nests and one  tiny little one. My daughter Caylagh fell in love with the tiny one and that says it all. The three other nests will be listed in my Etsy shop soon.

And now I would love to share my little 'First Snow' nests with you and again many, many photos that speak for themselves.

~ Nest 1 ~

~ Nest 2 ~

~ Nest 3 ~

The top nest is 4 inches in diameter and the other two are only 3 inches in diameter but I don't think that their small size takes away from their beauty one little bit.

And last but not least my tiny nest ...

... it is only 2 inches in diameter!

Like I said, the nests will be listed in my Etsy shop some time soon but I will let you know before hand here on Todolwen when that will be.

I am still working on my other creations for Christmas/Winter as I am writing this post and I am having a lot of fun doing so. I just seem to 'bloom' when the most wonderful time of the year approaches.

Oh ... and by the way ... we had our first snowflakes last night!

It would be nice if you were to visit me some time again here at Todolwen.

I hope you are well and life is treating you kind.

Have a peaceful and creative day,

Karen B.

  2. Very, very nice your nests!
You have snow already? I'm afraid of snow, because my way to work by car is sooooo long.

  4. Oh but your nests are so sweet...wouldn't they look wonderful tucked into a Christmas tree?
NOOOOO... I'm not ready for snow. I know living here in Idaho we can have snow most any time now, but hopefully in the mountains and not down here at 5000'.
