at any one time I either have nothing at all or on the other hand at least 3 or 4 projects on my worktable waiting for me to donate my time to them. Right now I am working on 3 different things or I am trying to do so.
Right now I am playing with my felted blankets ...
... trying to create beautiful poinsettias from them.
I am also still knitting more scarves as Christmas gifts and ...
... so far I have made three ~ two of them are still awaiting their butterflies.
And as well at that I have now started work on some embellishments for my last years nests ...
... before I list them all for sale in my Etsy shop.
As you can see I am busy working away on my Christmas creations and already waiting for the first snow to fall some time soon. Oh and by the way ~ did you know? It's only ...
... 61 days until Christmas!
That means I better 'get my skates on' because I have many more things to do!
I would love for you to stop by soon again and visit me here at Todolwen.
I hope you are well and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day,
Karen B.

The poinsettia cut outs look great and very touchable. Good luck with the work list
ReplyDeleteAck! I did not need to know how many days until Christmas. I need to get moving! Fast! I'm sewing and creating for a craft show in November.
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteLOVE your blanket felted poinsettias! your scarves ook so nicely done...I have just finished a scarf...well two months ago, but have too much going on to post about it!
No more countdowns about christmas please! I love Christmas, but I abhor countdowns!! They cause me too much pressure and then I feel like a failure before I even get going!
hugs,
Betsy
Lovely things you are working on!

Your vintage blanket poinsettias look amazing. If I actually had myself in gear, I'd have a number of projects too, but alas, they're not even as far as a project stage!!! I'm NOT going to think about when Christmas is!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful Christmas projects-- your little work table must shimmer--
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for the Christmas countdown!
Vicki
I'm right beside you again!! I love working on Christmas things and have several on teh go myself - I was so inspired by your picture of the Pottery Barn pillow I went looking online, and dug out some felt I have - I want to try my hand at them too.
