I was wondering if anybody else is having or has had a problem with uploading pictures to their blog?!
Since two days now I have been trying to get a post ready to share and when it comes to uploading my pictures, I click on the picture icon and after the new window opens a part of it is missing ~ it is the part where you click on to browse your pictures.
I sure hope that this isn't something I have done wrong, but then my daughter Ashleigh has the same problem too. Hopefully this 'little problem' will be sorted very soon.
I hope you are well my dear friends and life is treating you kind.
Have a peaceful and creative day,
Karen B.
Dear Karen,
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem but if you use google chrom you will be able to upload from your computer again. Hope this helps.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Marie
Yes I have too! I have read a few others have too! EWW Computers!! Alot are sayng the google chrome does help. XOXO Fran.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteSame problem here...I just read in a comment on another blog that you can upload photos if you try doing in "html" rather than "compose". I tried it and it worked. Then I switched back to compose to write my post since I don't know html code.
Maybe this will work for you.
I think blogger is aware of the problem....hopefully they fix it soon.
A couple of weeks ago I was not able to upload pictures to my blog, it was saying "I used up all my storage." We tried everything, ended up buying more at $2.50 a month from Google. I'm still mad about it and am looking for a way not to pay.
ReplyDeleteHold off uploading google chrome for a while as there is a virus affecting it right now, called babble lon.
Hi there :) I've just copied and pasted my comment from below:
DeleteIt sounds just like you may have used up all your 'blogger' storage. Yep, there is a limit. Another way around it is to upload your photos to another source, eg flickr or ravelry etc. Then when you go to 'upload' a photo, instead of selecting 'upload from computer' select the one at the bottom of the list 'from a url' then type in your flickr or other web address. I hope this helps.
*edit: This way uses digital storage from the other url instead of using google storage. No one wants to pay to have more storage!

I have a couple blog friends who are also having this problem. I hope they fix it soon, blogger must know by now there is a problem here! I look forward to your photos.
ReplyDeleteI too am having this issue and went to bloggers known issues forum. http://knownissues.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletethey say they are working on it...dosn't mean they will get it fixed any time soon but at least they are aware of the issue and working on it.
I currently am uploading images to photobucket and then linking them into my posts.
Others are also having problems. One solution suggested is using Mozilla instead of internet explorer. That seems to be working ok.
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and your pictures....So I hope you are able to find a way to get them up. It is so frustrating when something that has always worked, and is supposed to work flips out and doesn't work...grr...By the way, I spent 3 hours walking around an antique store a week or so ago and though of you since you said you love walking through them! I do too...
Hearts to you,
Betsy
I have not been having a problem. I've uploaded lot of pictures the last several days. You might also try going directly to Picasa and uploading from there.
ReplyDeleteI also had the same problem but downloaded Picasa 3 as the album and then it loaded, don't like it though, too hard to figure out.
ReplyDeleteAs the other ladies have already said, there is a problem which blogger are apparently aware of ~ and presumably working on!
ReplyDeleteI too am currently switching to the HTML mode to upload my photos, then switching back to Compose to write the post :-) I do hope the problem is resolved soon, though *sigh*
I too have had issues....when I close the blogger window, multiple screens start opening! I had the issue with running out of photo storage but corrected that by going to Picasa and resizing numerous photos. Not difficult to do but very time consuming.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your photos so hopefully all will be corrected soon.

I see that I am not alone... :D I transfer my photos on Picasa album and from there, I insert my photos on my blog, but these manipulations are long. I hope that Blogger is quickly going to end this bother.
ReplyDeleteNice week ! And excellent New Year !
Greetings
Nath.
This happens in Internet Explorer. I am using Chrome and have no problems. It works with Firefox as well.
