My Very First Wee Giveaway!!!

Hello my dear friends,

I have been really busy last week but I did find time to create something little. I would like you all to know that I am going to have a wee giveaway - my very first one!! I am so excited for this!!!!! I would like to thank you all for being so kind and caring and for all your lovely comments you have left me in the past.

The gift I am giving away, of course is none other than a pincushion!!!!

And this is it ...


I made this little creation specially for my giveaway and I hope you all like it.




This pincushion is made from a vintage children's spoon that I found in an antique store last week and of course I had to add some of my loved crochet pansies to it.



All you have to do to enter my giveaway is leave me a comment on this post and it would be nice if you were a follower.

I will draw the winner on June 2nd which will make my day really special (it's my birthday)! Good luck to you all!!

    Very happy follower here and I have to say that I love that sweet idea using old utensils as the base for a pincushion!
    I am going to scourer the local garage sales this summer for worn utensils and see what I can come up with! Thanks for so much wonderful inspiration!

    Love all your pincushions and it was a inspiration for me to make some too.
    The 2. june is the birthday of my husband, but he is a little bit older then you are...i guess.
    He hopes to be 74 years on that day and finally he will stop working.

    I love the pin cushion. The spoon reminds me so much of the one I used to have for my son (he's now in his 40's)and I don't know what I ever did with it. Was a lurker for some time (love your blog). Have now become a follower.

    Oh my, Karen! This darling little pin cushion is positively exquisite! Each time I visit your blog I become completely lost in all of the beautiful items you create. The pincushions are my favorite as I too am a maker of pincushions, though mine pale in comparision. I'd be over the moon if I were to be chosen for this gorgeous pin cushion.
