My Newest Treasures Have Arrived From Germany

Hello my dear friends,

I found this in my mailbox yesterday and I was so excited, it meant that my newest treasures from Germany have arrived.

But .... I had to wait until 5 pm before I could pick them up from the post office.

Here it is - my treasure "box" from overseas. It seems quite large for what is inside it.

What a lovely little card ...

... and there is a message on the back saying:

"You have paid too much shipping therefore you receive a "free doll".

This sounds really exciting!

Carefully now, what's inside here is very old and very delicate.

Almost there  ..... oh, I can barely wait!

And here they are ....    

my beautiful frozen Charlotte dolls!

I bid on them on eBay about 10 days ago and won the bidding!! There are twelve of these tiny little dolls ...

... and this is the smallest one! Just slightly larger than a penny.

Can you believe it?! This is my "free doll" I was given. She is from 1870 and in perfect condition.

 She is BEAUTIFUL!!!

What a sweet and kind thing to do for me, I am really touched! What a nice gentlemen over there in Germany. I will have to find her a special place in my home and make her some little clothes as well.

But for now my daughter Caylagh has made her a little bed to sleep in ...

... from a little old drawer she found in my craft room.

Now that I have my tiny white babies I will have to sit down and put a lot of thought into what I would like to do with them. Any ideas out there? If yes, drop me a line and let me know!
