I don't know if you have seen what is happening in Alberta right now ...
... so much rain has fallen this past week that several communities are flooded so intense and raging water is destroying homes and businesses. Over a dozen towns are entirely flooded including Camore and downtown Calgary and it's zoo and a state of emergency has been declared.
Unfortunately 3 people have lost their lives in the waters already and the flooding is not over yet.
Please, keep all those that have been or will be effected in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you!
Many hugs,
Karen B.
I didn't realize this was happening - hope you and your family are safe. Will keep those in the affected areas in our prayers.

My thoughts are with you and all those affected by the flood. I haven't watched the news at all this weekend so I can't tell if this has been in the news here in Finland, so thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteEven here in little Denmark we have heard the news. We must recycle some more and stop using so many resorts.

Saw pictures this AM...horific, prayers sent your way. It was 5 yrs ago Cedar Rapids, IA was hit with massive flooding and they are still destructing old buildings and replacing businesses. It will never be the same. Blessings to all
ReplyDeleteYour area has my prayers Karen, so many terrible acts of nature this spring. I hope this will be close to the end of it.
